Hittin' The Yard Sales Tomorrow

Well, my planned trip to Wal-Mart didn't happen last night, because we didn't wind up bunco until 12:30am!

We do have a tendency to run late, but last night set the record! We had so much fun, and laughed sooo hard!

Even though I HAD gotten my caffeine fix with some coffee while there, I just didn't have it in me to go to Wal-Mart at 12:30, but I did FORCE myself to go today, and so now I can check it off of my list for a while. YEA!

Have I mentioned that I HATE Wal-Mart?! Oh yeah, I think I have. I'll probably mention it again the next time I have to go too! Sorry.

My dad arrived this evening to spend the Easter weekend with us. We all had a yummy "southern" dinner tonight...cornbread, black eyed peas with ham and rice, rhubarb pie...mmmm!

Tomorrow, we are going to head out and hit some yard sales. I LOVE going to yard sales. It gets my adrenaline pumping to scout out those great deals! This will be my first yard sale morning of the season.

I will be taking little Carson with me, so that will add a bit of a challenge, but where there's a will, there's a way!

Bunco and Wal-Mart

I am posting earlier than usual tonight because I am about to head off to bunco.

I love my bunco group. I have been a member of several groups, and this is the only one that I have stuck with for more than 1 year. We have been together for 4 years now, and always have lots to talk about, and laugh about when we get together.

We started out as a group of 6th grade girl's moms from the same school. Over the course of time, however, we have added a boy's mom, and several of our daughters have changed schools, but we just keep sticking together. Maybe it is all of the good food that keeps us coming back! No, it's the great company, but the food IS great!

After bunco tonight, I NEED to make a stop at Wal-Mart for some Easter stuff. I have had it on my "to do" list for several days now, but I keep putting it off because I DO NOT like going to Wal-Mart. I've been putting it off for too long now, and have to just bite the bullet, and get it knocked out. Yuck!

Maybe if I drink a lot of caffeine at bunco, I will have some extra energy!
